Thanks! It's going ok... I'm in Veracruz now and kinda getting a little homesick. Might be because it was overcast today, raining off and on, etc. so I couldn't go out exploring on the motorcycle. And, the room I have is near the bus station (not such a swell area, but it's a decent room, has covered parking for the bike, etc.)
So, I was going to write a new report today.. but I was feeling kinda down, melancholy, etc. and didn't feel like it. Best I could do was manage to update the galleries, new video clip, etc. Will write a new one soon though. Thanks for following them!
Not sure where I'll go next. Probably ride down to Catemaco... then start my way back up. Stop in Orizaba, then D.F. then up to San Miguel de Allende (I really don't like that town so much since it's full of retired gringos and gringo students.. but it's on the way and it is cool to take snaps there).. then probably up to the desert to eat a little peyote before I ride up to the border.
That could all change though depending on the weather. I may decide to go back up along the coast. The Emerald Coast area looked nice, and if it's warm I could finally sleep in my hammock.
Brilliant! I hope he hasn't been walking up this slope every day of his life, maybe that's why he's bent. The whole thing has an unbalanced tension, the whole picture looks distorted, the colours are great and then there's the old guy struggling up the hill....
its a nice way back. Is you Take it I recomend you Puebla. Its avery rich colonial city with no tourist at all
If you come to San Luis guive me a call, I pay you a coffe at least
Hope you get Ok. I guess Its hard to pass days feeling difreent from every one elsse.

thanks. I was shooting the buildings because none of the lines were true with the horizon. It was dizzying to look at.. then I saw this little old guy workin his way up the hill so I waited a bit to get the shot I REALLY wanted.
I've passed through Puebla MANY times on the bus, but never stopped. It always looked too modern and industrial.. others have recommended that city too, so maybe I'll have to check it out.
If I go that route... I'll pass right through San Luis. Have you given me your phone number? I might take you up on a free coffee. Just make sure it's strong and not Nescafe.

Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
