I marvel when I think about how permanent people think their buildings are. From houses, to skyscrapers, back down to sheds. I feel so much at ease when I find run down old buildings like this one, in your picture. It's something that can be taken apart and used for something else, or simply a place, a thing, for critters to live in and chew on. :) There's no one gonna say, "Hey, you can't!" Of course someone can. Don't be silly.
This shack looks pretty run down, but it also looks like it might decide to get up and go for a walk. The weather is so very fine, after all.

I have another shot closer that shows that the whole shed is also actually twisted. Doesn't show as much in this shot, but I liked the low angle and railroad tracks. Thanks!

I've been around... just not on DA so much after they were so rude in the way they went about yanking one of my Eiffel images.. then they yanked my gratis subscription and I didn't want to hassle with the slow speed of this site.. and certainly didn't want to pay folks I was PO'd at. ;-)

But, I figured I'd toss a few fresh images up. Glad you like it. :-)

It reminds me of an old house a friend and I found in the woods. It was falling apart, the hinges were balrely hold the doors on, the roof was bowing in, and the lean-to was just a frame. Wow that was a fun find. We didn't have cameras that day because of the rain and we were on mountain bikes. We couldn't find it again the next time were in those woods. The rangers had told us it belonged to freed slaves after the Civil War, and that it was actually amazing that it was still standing, considering it's an all wood structure and in the middle of a swamp. I love finding stuff like that :).
