It'd been a long day of wandering about Seville. I'd just finished trying to get some stock video footage of a couple strolling along the river... when right in the middle of my shot, a clever cyclist thought it'd be a laugh to ride directly toward my camera with both middle fingers launched and sporting a grand smirk on his face. It was the last bit of light and I'd decided to throw in the towel and see if I could catch some flamenco dancing on one of the plazas.

I was almost to the plaza when I realized I'd left my cigarette case and lighter on the boardwalk. So, I hoofed it back to see if I could rescue my smokes before someone else beat me to them. There they were, I lit one up and turned to enjoy the the last bit of sunset. I wasn't even thinking about photos, but how lucky I was that my smokes were still there. I watched a man helping his son bait his line, when it dawned on me I was missing probably the best shot of the day! I fired off 2 or 3 shots, before the light was gone. Funny that just minutes prior I was all irritated with how I'd left my cigarettes behind and had to hike all the way back to the river to get'em. But, had I not been absent-minded that day, I wouldn't have captured this image.
