Thinking about where whatever it is we are goes when we pass on.

I like to think of everything as a big shapeless unconfined area of water. All things are like ice cubes while they are being and perceived. Gradually, they change and melt away. Only they never actually go away, they just become part of the water again.

Something is there and perceptively different from what's around it. It's gradually changing, morphing and melting over time until it eventually rejoins that which it never left.

Have been away such a long time. Feel like a stranger in a strange land.

Have a great trip!!!

I had a pinched nerve in my neck that was VERY painful for a long time. I tried all kinds of pain killers, various treatments, chiropractic treatments, etc. Nothing worked. The doctors told me I'd just have to live with the pain and eventually it would go away.

When I was in Thailand I went to Chiang Mai, to the "Old Chinese" hospital. I was told the people there could help me. I explained what was wrong and paid for a treatment. It was sort of like Thai massage, but also MUCH more painful. A small old Chinese woman worked on me for almost two hours. I didn't think it did any good because it was soooo painful. But after I got back to my room I realized that my pinched nerve in my neck was no longer bothering me. No more pain! If you go to Chiang Mai... you might give it a try yourself. :-)

Aww Thank You! I hope I will have great trips, I'm very excited! :D

Thank You for the tip about the treatments in Chiang Mai. BUT I have tried so many things through these 21 years I've had these pains and only get worse with massage on the neck/upper back/shoulder area. I wouldn't let any masseuse come near me in Thailand (or anywhere btw) as I'm so scared of beeing misunderstood with language difficulties or misunderstandings. I do believe in chinese treatments, but I've lost the faith in getting any better. I have to live with this and has almost got used to it by now. And there's painkillers and sleeping pills :P

I'm so glad you're better! I hope you feel fine :)

So, when is your next trip? And whereto? I'm planning of going to Austin Texas, but I have no idea when I have saved up money after these two trips and when I will go there. But the plans are that I WILL, some day :D

Take care! :blowkiss:
